Lladro Little Friskies Porcelain Figurine 5032
Description
A Lladro glazed porcelain figurine titled Little Friskies, model number 5032, originally sculpted by Juan Huerta. The figurine depicts a young girl kneeling in pastoral dress, featuring a white headscarf, a lavender-grey blouse, and a muted blue skirt. She is shown cradling a cat in her arms while a dalmatian-spotted puppy stands on its hind legs and looks up at her. The underside of the base displays the blue underglaze Lladro bellflower factory mark, the text HAND MADE IN SPAIN, and a copyright notice for DAISA 1978. The base also includes the incised model mark C-19 J and the handwritten-style incised decorator mark SY.
Condition report:
The figurine is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or evidence of professional repair. All delicate points, including the girl\'s fingers and the animals\' ears and tails, are fully intact. There is minor surface soiling on the unglazed porcelain rim of the base consistent with display.
