Description
A Colt Government Model ‘Potro Oro’ Davidson’s Exclusive Limited Edition semi-automatic pistol, chambered in .38 Super. This MKIV Series 70 firearm, identified as number 1 of 500, features a deep blued finish extensively embellished with intricate scroll engraving and gold-filled accents throughout the slide and frame. The gold details include a portrait of “CORONEL COLT” (Colonel Colt) framed by “DIOS CREÓ AL HOMBRE” (God created man) and “LOS HIZO IGUALES” (Made them equal) on the top of the slide. The right side of the slide features an American eagle above “ARMERIA DE COLT” (Colt Armory) and “Hartford Conn.”, while the left side displays a capitol dome motif and the iconic Colt horse logo. The polished dark grips also feature the Colt horse logo in gold. Visible text on the firearm includes “COLT’S PATENT FIREARMS MFG. CO. HARTFORD CONN., U.S.A.” and the serial number ESB269. The pistol is presented in its original blue Colt hard case, accompanied by one stainless steel magazine, a cable lock, and various paperwork.
Condition report:
Appearing in excellent, possibly unfired, condition. The blued finish and gold embellishments show no visible wear or damage. The bore is bright and clean. The original case and accessories are also in excellent condition.
