Description
A Smith & Wesson Model 18 blued steel double-action revolver, chambered in .22 Long Rifle. The revolver features a blued steel finish and classic American design with checkered wooden grips adorned with Smith & Wesson medallions. Markings on the barrel include “SMITH & WESSON” and “22 LONG RIFLE CTG”. The frame is marked “TRADE MARK REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.” and “MADE IN U.S.A. MARCAS REGISTRADAS SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS.”. The crane bears the stamping “K 481 578 M44 18-2”. The firearm is accompanied by a factory blue cardboard Smith & Wesson box, which displays the manufacturer’s logo and address. The end label on the box specifies “MODEL NO. 18 – 2” and “SER. NO. K 481 578”.
Condition report:
The revolver is in good to very good condition. It exhibits minor bluing wear, scuffs, and handling marks consistent with age and use on the metal surfaces. The wooden grips are well-preserved with sharp checkering and intact medallions. The accompanying blue cardboard box shows noticeable shelf wear, rubbing, and some edge fraying.
