This item consists of a vintage cardboard box of twenty .30 Winchester Smokeless Model 1894 soft point rifle cartridges, manufactured by the Winchester Repeating Arms Co. of New Haven, Connecticut, U.S.A. The orange and brown packaging features extensive black printed text, including “WINCHESTER,” “TRADE MARK,” “.30 WINCHESTER CALIBER MODEL 1894,” “SMOKELESS CARTRIDGES,” and “SOFT POINT,” along with usage notes and a “W” logo trademark. The brass-cased cartridges with lead bullets show a consistent patina.
