Description
A vintage Peters .32 Winchester Special ammunition box, containing 12 live smokeless soft point cartridges. The cardboard packaging prominently features “Peters .32 WINCHESTER SPECIAL,” “SMOKELESS POWDER,” “165 GRAINS SOFT POINT BULLET,” and is marked “ADAPTED TO WINCHESTER, MARLIN AND OTHER RIFLES.” Additional labels state “MANUFACTURED BY THE PETERS CARTRIDGE CO. CINCINNATI, O. U.S.A.” and include a “GUARANTEE” with “P TRADE MARK” logos. The cartridges have brass casings with “PETERS 32 W.S.” headstamps.
Condition report:
The box is in fair to poor condition, exhibiting significant wear, discoloration, creasing, and minor tears consistent with its age. The visible cartridges appear to be relatively well-preserved.
