Description
A vintage Winchester Silvertip Super Speed 300 Savage ammunition box. This box contains 20 CENTER FIRE CARTRIDGES, 150 GRAIN, described as ‘STAYNLESS’ and ‘NON-MERCURIC.’ The bullet tip is ‘protected by silver colored jacket’ with ‘CONTROLLED EXPANDING’ properties. The cardboard packaging features a distinctive red and yellow color scheme with white and black text, prominently displaying ‘WINCHESTER,’ ‘SILVER TIP,’ and ‘SUPER SPEED 300 SAVAGE’ on the top. Text indicates the product is ‘MADE IN U. S. A.’ or ‘MADE IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,’ and includes markings such as ‘TRADE • MARKS REG. U. S. PAT. OFF. MARCA REG.’ and a product code ‘K 3077 C.’ A handwritten ‘3,60’ is visible on the top surface.
