The left slide is marked “COLT MK IV SERIES ’80 GOVERNMENT MODEL .380 AUTO” alongside a rampant Colt logo. The right slide is marked “CAL .380”. The frame bears the marking “COLT’S PT. FA. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT, U.S.A.” and the serial number “RS08981”. It is fitted with black textured grip panels, each adorned with a silver-toned medallion depicting the rampant Colt logo.
