Vintage Remington UMC .32 S. & W. Central Fire Cartridges, 50 Rounds
Description
A vintage rectangular cardboard box containing 50 .32 S. & W. central fire cartridges, manufactured by The Remington Arms Union Metallic Cartridge Company, UMC Bridgeport Works, Conn., U.S.A. The light green paper-covered box features a top label detailing “REMINGTON UMC” branding, a cartridge illustration, and “88 GRS. BULLET.” The bottom of the box displays a bilingual “GUARANTEE” and “GARANTIA” text. Inside, 50 metallic cartridges with lead bullets are present, exhibiting various headstamps including “REM-UMC .32 S&W” and “UMC .32 S&W.”
Condition report:
The box is in fair to poor condition, showing significant wear, tears to the paper covering, discoloration, and some material loss, particularly along seams and edges. The cartridges themselves display varying degrees of tarnish, oxidation, and patina on both cases and lead bullets, consistent with age and storage.
