Description
A vintage cardboard box of .32 Automatic Colt Pistol (ACP) central fire cartridges, manufactured by The Union Metallic Cartridge Co. (UMC) of Bridgeport, Conn., U.S.A. The box, printed in red on natural cardboard, identifies the contents as containing “Smokeless Powder” with a “71 GR. BULLET” and features the “UMC” logo alongside a depiction of the “METAL CASED” cartridge. The bottom panel includes a printed “GUARANTEE” statement and some faint handwritten marks. Internally, the box contains 34 brass-cased live rounds, visibly headstamped “UMC .32 ACP,” paired with silver-colored bullets, arranged neatly alongside a white wadding insert.
Condition report:
The exterior packaging exhibits notable wear, fading, discoloration, and edge damage consistent with age. The contained cartridges appear to be in good, relatively clean condition.
