The pistol features a blued steel finish and dark brown synthetic grip panels, each adorned with a rampant colt emblem and textured checkering. Visible markings include “COLT AUTOMATIC CAL.22 LONG RIFLE” on the slide, “CHALLENGER” and a rampant colt logo on the frame, and “COLT’S MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.” on the barrel. It is accompanied by a black fabric soft case with an “Acorn” brand tag.
