MAGNUM”, “FOR 3 IN. SHELLS”, “FULL”, and “REMINGTON ARMS CO., INC. ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A.”, alongside various proof marks such as “V”, “REP”, and “AC 36”. The receiver is marked “Remington MAGNUM”, “Wingmaster”, “MODEL 870”, and serial number “T979196 M”. The buttpad is embossed with “Remington”.
