Description
A vintage Winchester Boy Scouts of America 75th Anniversary Commemorative Ammunition package. This lot comprises 300 rounds of .22 Long Rifle Rimfire ammunition. The ammunition was originally presented in an outer cardboard box designed to hold 500 rounds, divided into 10 smaller boxes. The outer box features a colorful illustration depicting various Boy Scout activities, including shooting, canoeing, hiking, and cycling, and is prominently marked with “WINCHESTER” and the Boy Scouts of America emblem. The individual rounds feature a metallic finish, with some exhibiting brass-colored casings and copper-colored projectiles. Many cartridges are visibly stamped on their base with the Boy Scouts fleur-de-lis logo.
Condition report:
The outer cardboard box shows significant wear, including creasing, tears, and discoloration, particularly along the edges and corners. The ammunition itself appears to be in relatively good, unused condition; however, functionality is unverified and cannot be guaranteed.
