Description
A Remington Model-1100 semi-automatic shotgun, primarily constructed from blued steel and polished hardwood, likely walnut. The receiver is embellished with scrollwork engraving and marked “Remington Model-1100” along with the serial number “M720748 V”. The barrel is marked “REMINGTON ARMS CO., INC. ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A.” and specifies “12 GA. FOR 2 3/4 IN. SHELLS,” with additional markings including “MOD.” and “65 WS”. The buttpad is a rubberized “Remington WHITE LINE PAD” marked “INC. NEW YORK, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A.” and includes design patent “PAT. D310,037.” This firearm is equipped with a 27 3/4″ barrel.
Condition report:
Overall good condition with minor cosmetic wear. Light scratches and handling marks are present on both the wood finish and the metal bluing, consistent with age and use. The rubberized buttpad shows some minor wear.
