Description
A Marlin Model 30AS lever-action rifle, chambered in .30-30 Winchester, featuring a Micro-Groove barrel. The rifle exhibits blued steel metalwork and a reddish-brown varnished wooden stock and fore-end, both adorned with diamond-patterned checkering. Markings on the barrel include “THE MARLIN FIREARMS CO. NORTH HAVEN, CT, U.S.A. MOD. 30AS MICRO-GROOVE BARREL CAL. 30/30 WIN.” The receiver bears the serial number “04077014”. A “Marlin” script logo is visible on the black rubber butt plate. The barrel measures 20 inches.
Condition report:
Very good overall condition. The bluing is predominantly intact with minor surface wear. The glossy wooden components show light handling marks, scratches, and indentations consistent with use.
