Description
A Winchester Model 52C ‘Utah Centennial’ bolt-action rifle, produced around 1996, commemorating the ‘1896-1996’ Utah Centennial. The rifle features a blued steel barrel and action, complemented by a highly figured, polished dark wooden stock with checkered grip and forend panels, and a black composite buttplate. Prominent barrel and receiver markings include “WINCHESTER TRADE MARK”, “MODEL 52”, “.22 LONG R.”, “PROOF STEEL”, “UTAH CENTENNIAL 1896-1996”, “MADE IN JAPAN”, “IMPORTED TO NEW HAVEN, CT, U.S.A.”, and serial number “100UT0091”. It is accompanied by its original red box, labeled as a “MODEL 52B BOLT ACTION RIFLE” (with “Sporter model” handwritten) in .22 Long Rifle caliber with a 24-inch barrel, along with an instruction card for “MODEL 52B” and a detachable black metal magazine.
Condition report:
Excellent, near new condition. Appears unfired with minimal handling marks. The original box shows minor shelf wear.
