Description
Three full vintage Western Super-X .257 Roberts 87 Grain Lubaloy ammunition boxes. Each cardboard box features “Western” branding in a prominent script font, “CENTER FIRE CARTRIDGES”, and “Super-X” on a blue and yellow color scheme. Each box is marked “20” indicating quantity and specifies “257 Roberts” caliber, “87 GRAIN Lubaloy (LUBRICATING ALLOY) OPEN POINT EXP. BULLET”, and “NON-CORROSIVE PRIMING—SMOKELESS POWDER”. One box is opened, revealing twenty brass-cased cartridges with copper-colored projectiles. The cartridge casings are stamped around the primer with “WESTERN SUPER-X 257 R” (or similar partial markings of “257 ROBERTS”).
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes exhibit visible wear, creasing, and some fading consistent with age and storage. The contained cartridges appear in good, clean condition with minimal tarnish.
