Remington Model 541-S Custom Sporter Bolt Action .22 Caliber Rifle with Original Box
Description
A Remington Model 541-S Custom Sporter bolt-action .22 caliber rifle, capable of firing Short, Long, or Long Rifle ammunition, presented in its original packaging. The rifle features a highly figured, glossy finished walnut stock with intricate checkering on the grip and fore-end, accented by white line spacers. It is fitted with blued steel components, including a hooded front sight and an adjustable “BEEMAN” target-style rear sight. Visible markings on the receiver and barrel identify it as “Remington,” “MODEL 541-S CUSTOM SPORTER,” “22 SHORT, LONG, OR LONG RIFLE,” “REMINGTON ARMS CO. INC. ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A.,” and “PATENT PENDING,” with serial number A1030595. The accompanying original green Remington box is marked “Pat. & Tm. Off. Marca Registrada,” and an included document is dated 1977, suggesting the rifle’s period of manufacture.
Condition report:
The rifle appears in excellent, possibly unfired condition, displaying pristine metal and wood finishes. The outer cardboard box exhibits minor shelf wear.
