A black-finished Colt MK IV Series 70 Government Model .45 Automatic Caliber semi-automatic pistol. The steel pistol is marked on the slide with “COLT’S MK IV / SERIES 70”, “GOVERNMENT MODEL”, “.45 AUTOMATIC CALIBER”, and “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.”, featuring the “Rampant Colt” logo and serial number “40800G70”. The barrel is marked “COLT .45 AUTO” and “MK IV/SERIES 70”. It is fitted with textured black grips and an orange insert in the front sight. The lot includes a black leather holster, and a single stainless steel magazine with witness holes and a black baseplate.
Condition report:
The pistol is in good, used condition with minor finish wear and scuffs consistent with handling. The accompanying black leather holster is visibly worn with creasing and scuffs. The stainless steel magazine shows minor wear.
