Description

This assemblage comprises traditional ethnographic archery equipment, featuring a bow, a cylindrical quiver, and a set of four arrows. The quiver is crafted from a segment of light-colored wood or bamboo, accented at its ends with animal hide/fur and secured by braided natural fiber cordage and a dark band, possibly leather or metal. The bow, made of similar light-colored wood, has wrapped natural fiber cordage at its nocks and is strung with a twisted natural fiber string. The four arrows have wooden or reed shafts, fletched with natural feathers secured by wrapping, and are fitted with forged metal arrowheads of various barbed and leaf-shaped forms, also bound with wrapping. The items exhibit an ethnographic or traditional style with apparent age and use.

Condition report:

The metal arrowheads show significant rust and pitting. The feather fletching is worn, and the natural fibers display fraying. The wooden components appear structurally stable with surface wear and discoloration. No discernible text or markings are visible.
