A vintage Peters Cartridge Co. cardboard box for .30 Luger C.F. Cartridges (7.65m/m or 7.65 millimeter). The box contains 33 live rounds with mixed headstamps. The box is labeled “SMOKELESS POWDER” and “FOR .30 LUGER AUTOMATIC PISTOLS,” featuring “The PETERS CARTRIDGE CO., CINCINNATI, O., U.S.A.” and “No. 3052” with “METAL CASED” text. The metal-cased cartridges are primarily brass with copper-colored bullets, marked with various headstamps including “PETERS .30 LUGER.” White packing material is present inside the box.
Condition report:
The cardboard box is aged and worn, with visible tears, creasing, and discoloration. The cartridges exhibit surface patina and some verdigris consistent with age.
