Description
A vintage box of Winchester .30 Government Model 1906 Pointed Soft Point—150 Gr. Smokeless Cartridges, containing 20 brass rifle cartridges. The box features orange-colored paper labels with black text, identifying the manufacturer as “WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS COMPANY, New Haven, Conn., U. S. A.” and displaying a patent date of “Nov. 4, 1913.” It notes the cartridges are “Adapted to U. S. Springfield Rifle Model 1906 and Winchester Rifle Model 95.” The brass-cased cartridges inside have a copper-colored bullet tip and are visibly stamped with headstamps reading “W. R. A. CO. 1906 .30 GOV.”
Condition report:
The box is in fair to poor condition, exhibiting significant age-related wear, discoloration, creasing, minor tears, and visible clear tape securing portions of the packaging. The cartridges appear to be in good, uncorroded condition.
