Description
A Savage Model 1907 semi-automatic pistol, chambered in .380 caliber. This blued steel pistol exhibits design characteristics consistent with the early 20th-century. The left side of the slide is marked “SAVAGE ARMS CORP. UTICA, N.Y. U.S.A. CAL. 380.” and further below, “PATENTED NOVEMBER 21, 1905. – 9-M.M.”. The checkered grip panels, likely composed of hard rubber or composite, feature a circular emblem depicting an indigenous American head in profile, encircled by the text “SAVAGE QUALITY”. A safety lever on the frame is visibly marked “SAFE”.
Condition report:
In good, used condition, showing expected wear to the blued finish with areas of thinning, scratches, and some minor discoloration consistent with its age.
