Description

A blued steel double-action revolver, originally manufactured by Smith & Wesson, featuring a 3 1/2″ barrel and checkered wooden grip panels. The barrel is marked “SMITH & WESSON” and “.38 S. & W. CTG”, with additional markings “NP .38 CAL .700”. The left side of the frame is marked “MADE IN U.S.A.”, while the right side bears the inscription “CONVERTED BY COGSWELL & HARRISON LTD LONDON”. The serial number “858998” is stamped on the butt of the grip, and “97730” is visible on the yoke.


Condition report:

Fair condition. The firearm exhibits considerable wear, including significant bluing loss, scattered surface pitting, and general age-related patina. It appears to be complete and structurally sound.
