Description
A blued steel Colt Police Positive Special double-action revolver, featuring a 5″ barrel and a six-shot swing-out cylinder. The barrel is marked “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A. PAT’D AUG. 5. 1884. JUNE 5. 1900. JULY 4. 1905.” and “POLICE POSITIVE SPECIAL 32-20 W.C.F.”. The serial number “371929” is visible on the crane. It is fitted with checkered wooden grips, each featuring a Colt rampant colt medallion. A faint rampant colt logo is present on the frame.
Condition report:
The firearm exhibits moderate wear consistent with age and use, including some finish loss, light scratches, and minor surface rust or patina, particularly visible inside the cylinder. The wooden grips appear sound.
