Description
Two commercial production Winchester Western “Super X” ammunition boxes, likely mid-to-late 20th century, each designed to hold twenty .284 Winchester 125 gr. Power-Point (S.P.) center fire rifle cartridges, totaling 40 rounds. The cardboard boxes feature blue and orange “Super X” branding, “WINCHESTER® Western” text, and labels indicating “20 CENTER FIRE RIFLE CARTRIDGES”. The end flaps are marked “X2841” and “284 Winchester”. A visible safety warning reads: “WARNING: Keep out of Reach of Children Read All Warnings on Package Before Using.” The brass-cased cartridges inside are marked “WIN .284 WIN” on their bases.
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes show moderate wear, including dirt, creasing, tape residue, and a minor tear on one box. The brass-cased cartridges inside appear to be in generally clean, well-preserved condition.
