Description
A vintage Weatherby .300 W.M. Ultra-Velocity Ammunition ‘Tiger Head’ box, containing 7 live rounds and 13 empty brass casings. The cardboard box is explicitly marked as “.300 W.M.” (Weatherby Magnum), 180 Grain Soft Point, No. 17665, and originally contained 20 rounds. The ammunition is specified as “MADE IN SWEDEN”. The front of the box features an illustration of a tiger’s head and a large brass cartridge, alongside brand text including “Weatherby” and “Builders of America’s Finest Rifles.” The brass cartridges bear “WEATHERBY MAGNUM .300 WM” headstamps.
Condition report:
The cardboard box is in poor condition, displaying extensive wear, creasing, tears, scuffing, and significant paper and print loss, especially along edges and corners. The 7 live rounds and 13 empty brass cartridges appear to be in generally good condition, showing only minor age-consistent tarnishing.
