Description
A collection of four vintage Western brand ammunition boxes, comprising two marked “SUPER X” and two “SUPER-SPEED,” containing a total of 80 rounds of CENTER FIRE CARTRIDGES. Each yellow and red cardboard box specifies “.225 Winchester 55 GR. PTD. SOFT POINT” and model number “W2251,” alongside a “WARNING Keep out of reach of children.” One box is open, revealing twenty brass-cased cartridges with pointed soft point projectiles. Each cartridge base is stamped “225 WIN” and “SUPER-X.”
Condition report:
The boxes show visible signs of age and handling, including discoloration, creasing, minor tears, and handwritten notations, notably a \"3.51\" price tag on one. The revealed cartridges appear to be in good, clean physical condition.
