Description
A Sierra The Bulletsmiths 50th Anniversary Bullet Display Board. This oval-shaped commemorative wall display plaque, dating to approximately 1997, marks the “50th Anniversary” of “Sierra The Bulletsmiths,” whose tradition began in 1947. The piece features a light-colored wooden frame with a carved rope-like outer edge, enclosing a black matte display panel on which a comprehensive array of copper-jacketed bullet projectiles, varying in caliber and weight, are meticulously mounted and individually labeled with their specifications. A central wooden medallion repeats the “50th Anniversary” inscription, surrounding a mountain landscape with a target emblem. The bottom right corner of the display panel is marked “3769 / 5000,” indicating its limited edition status. The reverse side includes a metal hanging wire and a black oval label crediting “Designed and produced by CALLIS & Associates and The Woodwright Shop, Inc.”
