Description
A group of five vintage-style cardboard boxes of Remington “HI-SPEED” center fire cartridges, accompanied by a white foam or plastic tray containing an unquantified number of brass-cased cartridges, with one loose cartridge displayed on top. The green and yellow boxes, marked “MADE IN U.S.A.,” prominently feature “Remington,” “HI-SPEED,” and “20 CENTER FIRE CARTRIDGES,” with a “WARNING • KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.” Specific labels indicate “222 REMINGTON MAG.” or “222 REMINGTON MAGNUM,” with “55 GRAIN SOFT POINT” or “50 GRAIN PT’D. SOFT PT.” and “KLEANBORE PRIMING,” alongside index numbers such as “0522” and “0722.”
Condition report:
The cardboard packaging exhibits considerable shelf wear, discoloration, scuffs, and some tearing, with parts of labels obscured or peeling. Some boxes are partially encased in aged clear plastic wrap. The cartridges themselves appear to be in generally good, aged condition, exhibiting some minor tarnishing on the brass casings.
