Three Boxes of Vintage .257 Roberts Rifle Cartridges by Peters, Winchester, and Remington
Description
This lot features three boxes of vintage .257 Roberts centerfire rifle cartridges, each containing 20 rounds and marked “MADE IN U.S.A.” The collection includes a blue and red Peters box labeled “High Velocity Kleanbore® Priming” with “117 Grain – Soft Point Core-Lokt” bullets, an orange and white Winchester “Super-X” box with “100 Gr. Silvertip®” bullets, and a green Remington “Hi-Speed Kleanbore® Priming” box also with “117 Grain – Soft Point Core-Lokt” bullets. The brass-cased cartridges, featuring headstamps such as “REM-UMC .257 ROBTS”, “W-W .257 ROBTS”, and “PETERS .257 ROBERTS”, appear to be in good, unfired condition.
Condition report:
The cardboard packaging exhibits significant wear, creasing, and minor tearing consistent with age and storage. The cartridges show some slight surface tarnish but are otherwise in good, unfired condition.
