Lladro Girl with Hen Porcelain Figurine Model 4591
Description
This glossy glazed porcelain figurine is a product of the Lladro factory in Spain. Identified as model number 4591, the piece is titled Girl with Hen or Girl with Cockerel. The figure depicts a young woman in peasant dress, featuring a white headscarf, a slate blue long-sleeved bodice, a tan skirt, and a white apron. She is shown holding a brown and white hen in both arms, with a woven basket containing white cloths resting on her right arm. The base of the figurine displays a blue underglaze stamp with the Lladro bell logo, the company name, Hand Made in Spain, and the Daisa copyright. The model number 4591 is incised into the base, alongside the letters J and K and other factory marks.
