Lladro Porcelain Figurine Shepherd with Bird Model 4730
Description
Lladro porcelain figurine titled Shepherd with Bird, model number 4730. The piece depicts a young boy reclining against a hay bale, wearing a wide-brimmed hat, a scarf with blue striped ends, a light-colored sweater, and shorts. The figure is captured in a shushing gesture with one finger to his lips while looking toward a small bird perched on the toe of his raised left boot. The figurine is finished in a characteristic pale pastel glaze. The underside features the blue underglaze Lladro factory mark with the stylized bell-flower symbol, the text LLADRO, and HAND MADE IN SPAIN. Incised marks including the digits 1 and 5 are also present on the base.
Condition report:
The figurine is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs are visible. Delicate areas, including the boy\'s fingers and the small bird on the foot, remain fully intact.
