Large Antique Tramp Artisan Folk Sewing Box
Description
Large sewing box in the Tramp Artisan folk art style. Exterior decorated with layers of chipped and carved wood, floral motif detailing on each side panel, and a hinged top decorated with branches and gilt brass stars. The center of the lid features green and orange padding with a layered knob at the center. Interior opens to green lined storage, and a framed round mirror on the top. Dated 1915.
Condition- some damage to the edges, discoloration to the top, and chips throughout.
