Winchester Model 98 Signal Cannon Reproduction with 2 Boxes of 10 Gauge Blank Shotshells, in Original Crate
Description
A contemporary reproduction Winchester Model 98 signal cannon, based on a design first debuted in 1903, constructed from black-finished blued steel and cast-iron. Visible markings on the cannon include “W.R.A. Co. TRADE MARK MADE IN U.S.A.” on the carriage, and “USE 10 GA. BLANK ONLY”, “MFG. BY THE BEEBOOM – JOHNSON TOOL CO. HAMDEN, CT, U.S.A. – UNDER LICENSE FROM WINCHESTER”, and serial number 0050803 on the breech. The set includes 2 boxes of Winchester Super X 10 Gauge Black Powder Blank Load ammunition, displaying warnings in English and French: “WARNING: Keep out of reach of children. Read all warnings on package. AVERTISSEMENT: Gardez hors de la portée des enfants. Lisez tous les avertissements sur l’emballage.” All items are presented within two wooden crates bearing the Winchester ‘W’ logo and include promotional paperwork for the “NEW Winchester® Model 98 Signal Cannons”.
Condition report:
The entire collection appears to be in like new condition with original packaging intact and minimal signs of handling.
