An antique Remington Arms Co. single-shot rolling-block rifle, chambered in .32 CAL. Constructed with a dark-grained wooden stock and forend, paired with steel for the full-length octagonal barrel, receiver, and other metallic components. The barrel is marked ‘REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION. N.Y. U.S.A.’, and the underside of the barrel/receiver junction displays ‘J215819 .32’, indicating the serial number and caliber.
Condition report:
The rifle is in well-used condition, exhibiting extensive patination and loss of original finish on metal surfaces. The wooden elements show various scratches and minor dents consistent with age and use.
