Thompson Center Contender .22LR Pistol with Vistascope 2.5X Pistol Scope
Description
A Thompson Center Contender single-shot, break-action pistol, chambered in .22LR. The pistol features a blued metal finish on the barrel and frame, complemented by rich, dark brown wooden grips and a wooden fore-end. The left side of the receiver is adorned with decorative scrollwork surrounding a circular engraving depicting a wildcat. A black Vistascope 2.5 X PISTOL scope is mounted on top, showing a clear crosshair reticle through the eyepiece. Markings on the barrel read “THOMPSON CENTER ARMS” and “ROCHESTER, N. H.”, with “22LR” partially visible. The serial number “120886” is stamped on the frame beneath the grip. The pistol is accompanied by two black cylindrical lens caps, one yellow-tinted and one clear.
Condition report:
Very good to excellent apparent condition. Minor wear consistent with light use is present on the blued finish. The wooden grips and fore-end show light handling marks. The Vistascope optics are clear with a crisp reticle.
