Vintage Western .25 Automatic Lubaloy Ammunition, 41 Live Rounds
Description
A vintage box of Western .25 Automatic Lubaloy ammunition, containing 41 live rounds. The cardboard packaging features a mid-century design with blue and yellow panels, accented by red text for the “Western” brand name and the distinctive “BULLSEYE TARGET” logo. The box advertises “50 GRAIN FULL METAL CASE Lubaloy BULLET,” “Center Fire,” “NON-CORROSIVE PRIMING,” and “SMOKELESS POWDER.” Details on the box confirm manufacture by “WESTERN CARTRIDGE COMPANY, East Alton, Ill., U.S.A., Division of OLIN INDUSTRIES, INC.,” and the presence of “MARCA REGISTRADA.” Inside, the brass-cased cartridges with copper-colored bullets appear to be in good, largely untarnished condition, with visible “WESTERN .25AP” headstamps on many bases, and are neatly arranged within the box alongside a piece of packing material.
