Winchester Model 88 Lever-Action Rifle, .243 WIN, with 22" Barrel
Description
A Winchester Model 88 lever-action rifle, chambered in .243 WIN, featuring a 22″ blued steel barrel and receiver. The rifle is fitted with a varnished wooden stock adorned with fine-line checkering and stylized carved oak leaf and acorn motifs on both the forend and pistol grip. Visible markings on the receiver include “WINCHESTER – MODEL 88 – CAL. 243 WIN. – TRADE MARK – MADE IN U.S.A.” and the serial number “204091A”. The rifle is equipped with a set of Weaver scope rings, marked “WEAVER – EL PASO, TEX. – USA”, and retains its original iron sights. A detachable box magazine, marked “M88” and “PATENTED”, is also present.

Good condition. The rifle exhibits expected signs of use and age, including surface scratches and minor finish wear on both the wood stock and metal parts. Mechanisms appear intact.
