Description
This lot comprises three vintage boxes of rifle ammunition, totaling 60 rounds, featuring Western SUPER X and Winchester SUPER-SPEED brands, all in .300 Savage caliber. Each box contains cartridges in cardboard trays. Two yellow cardboard boxes are branded “Western SUPER X,” with one labeled “SILVERTIP 150 GR. EXPANDING” (model 3003) and the other “POWER-POINT 150 GR. SOFT POINT” (model 3001). The third yellow box is branded “Winchester SUPER-SPEED POWER-POINT 150 GR. SOFT POINT” (model W3001). All boxes are marked “.300 Savage” caliber and prominently display a “WARNING Keep out of reach of children” in English. The contents are brass-cased cartridges with visible headstamps including “SUPER X,” “W,” and “300 SAV.” Projectile types vary, with some appearing copper-jacketed (expanding) and others featuring exposed lead tips (soft point), consistent with the box descriptions.
