Description
A vintage box of Western Cartridge Company .32 Short Colt Center Fire ammunition. The box, manufactured by Western Cartridge Company, a Division of Olin Industries, Inc. in East Alton, Illinois, originally stated to contain 50 cartridges, now contains 33 live rounds. The ammunition features 80-grain Lubaloy greased bullets, smokeless powder, and non-corrosive priming. The brass-cased cartridges have copper-colored bullets and are stamped ‘Western’ on the primers, arranged in rows separated by a white fibrous wadding.
Condition report:
The cardboard box exhibits significant wear, staining, minor tears, and handwritten numbers such as \"5190\" on its exterior surfaces. The interior cartridges show surface oxidation and tarnish.
