A vintage cardboard box containing 50 rounds of Remington Arms-Union Metallic Cartridge Co. .32 S. & W. 88 GRS. central fire cartridges. The box features a worn green paper label with black text, identifying the manufacturer as “Remington Arms – Union Metallic Cartridge Co.”, with “UNION METALLIC CARTRIDGE WORKS, BRIDGEPORT, CONN. U.S.A.”, and includes a “REMINGTON UMC” circular logo. Visible text on the sides indicates the cartridges are for “Smith & W.” and other arms. Inside, the box contains 50 unspent cartridges with brass casings and lead bullets; the cartridges display signs of age such as tarnishing on the brass and dulling of the lead, but appear structurally intact, with visible headstamps including “32 S&W” and manufacturer initials like “U” and “R”.
