A Marlin Model X7 .308 Win. bolt-action rifle, manufactured by The Marlin Firearms Co., Mayfield, KY, U.S.A. The rifle features a black synthetic stock and metal barrel and receiver. It is fitted with a BSA Optics Mil-Dot 6-24x40R rifle scope, secured by Weaver USA rings. The scope displays a Mil-dot crosshair reticle and parallax adjustment marked ’10 YDS’. The buttplate is embossed with ‘Marlin’. A partial safety warning, ‘WARNING: READ INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING KEEP FINGERS AWAY FROM MOVING PARTS…’, is present on the barrel. The serial number is MM03405T.
