Description
This lot presents a fixed-blade hunting knife with an accompanying tan leather sheath. The knife features a full-tang, pattern-welded steel blade, exhibiting characteristic wavy Damascus patterns and a visible dark patina or surface oxidation. The handle is constructed with two sections of scales: a dark brown wood for the main grip and a vibrant reddish-orange wood or composite material serving as a bolster, secured by three metallic pins and a brass-lined lanyard hole. The custom-fit leather sheath has visible stitching. No discernible maker’s marks or other text are visible on either item.
Condition report:
The blade exhibits surface oxidation and patina consistent with age and use. The handle shows minor wear. The leather sheath is in good, used condition with minor scuffs and wear.
