Colt New Line .41 Nickel-Plated Five-Shot Revolver
Description
A Colt New Line .41 Revolver. This compact, nickel-plated revolver features an exposed hammer and a five-shot fluted cylinder. The dark wooden grips are fitted with a visible brass escutcheon around the screw. Markings on the top of the barrel include “COLT NEW 41”, with “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.” present on the underside. The serial number “2868” is visible on the barrel, and “41 CAL” is marked on the frame below the cylinder.
Condition report:
The metal surfaces exhibit significant wear, plating loss, visible pitting, and scratches throughout. The wooden grips show commensurate surface wear, including minor nicks and abrasions. Overall in fair antique condition.
