Description
A Winchester Model 94AE Alamosa County Colorado Commemorative Lever-Action Rifle, chambered in .30-30 Win., limited edition 9 of 10. This highly decorative rifle features a 20″ barrel, extensive gold-plated metalwork, and polished American walnut stock and forend. The receiver is elaborately engraved with commemorative scenes including a train, covered wagons, mountains, and a map, alongside text stating “ALAMOSA COUNTY COLORADO” and “COLORADO’S YOUNGEST COUNTY ESTABLISHED 1913.” Visible markings on the rifle include “WINCHESTER® MODEL 94AE CAL 30-30 WIN.”, “MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL”, serial number “6125010”, and “A & A Engraving Royal City, South Dakota”. Accompanying documentation, a Winchester hang tag, further identifies it as a “MODEL 94 STANDARD WALNUT Lever Action Rifle with 100TH ANNIVERSARY INSCRIPTION.” The rifle is presented within a fitted wooden display case with a glass front, blue velvet lining, and a mirrored back. The key to the display case is missing.
