Description

A compact, semi-automatic pistol identified as a Spanish Princeps, featuring a two-tone metallic finish with extensive ornate scroll and floral engraving, indicative of an early 20th-century European style. The metal surfaces appear to be steel, with areas of silver-toned and gold-toned plating or finish. It is fitted with white mother-of-pearl grip panels, secured by a single screw on each side. Visible text on the left side of the slide reads “FABRIQUE D’ARMES de GUERRE DE GRANDE PRECISION” (MANUFACTURER OF WEAPONS OF WAR OF HIGH PRECISION) above “PRINCEPS’ PATENT.” A serial number “N. 377” is present on the frame above the trigger guard.

Condition report:

Fair to poor condition. The metal components exhibit significant wear, finish loss, and areas of discoloration and corrosion, particularly affecting the gold-toned plating. The mother-of-pearl grips appear largely intact with minor surface wear.
