Description
A Colt MK IV Series 80 Government Model .380 Auto semi-automatic pistol. The left side of the slide is marked “COLT MK IV / SERIES 80 GOVERNMENT MODEL – 380 AUTO” accompanied by the Colt rampant horse logo. The serial number “RC55499” is visible on the left side of the frame. The right side of the slide is marked “GOVERNMENT MODEL,” and the frame bears “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.” “CAL.380” is visible in the ejection port, and “COLT .380 AUTO” is on the magazine base. Constructed primarily of metal with a black finish, the pistol features polymer or hard rubber grips, with the left grip panel having a textured surface and a prominent gold-colored medallion depicting the rampant horse logo.
