Vintage Winchester Super Speed 30-06 Springfield Ammunition, 20 Rounds
Description
A vintage Winchester ‘Super Speed’ 30-06 Springfield ammunition box, containing 20 rounds. The cardboard box features a distinctive red and yellow paper label, contained within an aged and torn clear plastic film. The front face displays the prominent “W” logo above “WINCHESTER TRADE MARK,” “SUPER SPEED 30-06 SPRINGFIELD,” and details “20 CENTER FIRE CARTRIDGES • STAYNLESS • NON-MERCURIC.” It also notes its adaptability “ADAPTED TO WINCHESTER MODELS 54 AND 70 AND OTHER RIFLES CHAMBERED FOR THIS CALIBER,” and “MADE IN U. S. A.” One side of the box illustrates a cartridge, specifying “180 GRAIN SOFT POINT” and reiterating “SUPER SPEED 30-06 SPRINGFIELD” and “MADE IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.” A partially visible end panel confirms “180 GRAIN BULLET SOFT POINT” and includes the code “K-3062C.”
