Western Super-X .300 Savage Ammunition, 60 Rounds
Description
A group of three vintage boxes of Western Super-X .300 Savage center fire rifle cartridges. This lot contains a total of 60 rounds. Two cardboard boxes are labeled for 20 rounds each of 150 grain “OP. PT. EXP.” (Open Point Expanding) Lubaloy bullets. The third cardboard box is labeled for 20 rounds of 180 grain “SOFT POINT” Lubaloy bullets. All boxes specify “NON-CORROSIVE PRIMING” and “SMOKELESS POWDER.” The cartridges feature brass casings with “WCC 300 SAV” headstamps and copper-jacketed bullets, consistent with the described bullet types.
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes exhibit varying degrees of wear, fading, and minor tears commensurate with age, ranging from fair to good condition. The cartridges show superficial tarnish on the brass but appear otherwise well-preserved.
