Description
A collection of Peters High Velocity .257 Roberts ammunition. Comprising 47 live rounds and 15 empty brass casings, presented in four original Peters brand cardboard boxes. Each box is labeled “Peters HIGH VELOCITY 257 ROBERTS,” specifying “117 GRAIN INNER-BELTED SOFT POINT BULLET” and “MADE IN U.S.A.,” alongside the “OU PONT” logo. The visible cartridges are brass-cased with soft-point bullets, each bearing a “PETERS 257 ROBERTS” headstamp.
Condition report:
The four cardboard boxes exhibit considerable wear, creasing, fading, and some tears, consistent with age. One box shows a handwritten \"311\" marking. The cartridges appear in generally good condition with minor surface discoloration consistent with age.
